Cationic guar gum is a cationic polymer purified and chemically modified from guar beans, a natural and renewable natural resource, which can effectively increase the viscosity of the formula system. When cationic guar gum is used in hair conditioner, its rheological properties of shear thinning can make the thick formula system have better spread. Good conditioning properties can be achieved by combining with anionic surfactants in the hair conditioner system.
Because cationic guar gum has the function of suspension and emulsification, when the content of silicone oil in the formula is high, it can play the role of suspension and carrying, helping to stabilize the silicone oil in the formula of hair conditioner.
